Richard A. “Dick” Sedler
Richard A. “Dick” Sedler Sr. 81 of Bethlehem died on September 7, 2016 at the Inpatient Hospice at Lehigh Valley Hospital surrounded by his family.
Dick was born on July 28, 1935 in Bethlehem, son of the late Andrew Sedler and Lillian (Filo) Sedler.
He was a former member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War with the Hell on Wheels Field Artillery Division.
He worked for his dear friend Mario D’Angelo of D’Angelo’s Cleaning Service, Orr’s department store, and Lehigh Valley Taxi Limo Service.
Survivors: He was a loving Father and Grandfather to a daughter Deborah Ann Andrashko wife of Ronald of Sarasota, FL , sons Richard A. Sedler Jr. of Sarasota FL, Kenneth Sedler, wife of Brittany of Emmaus and their mother and his former wife Lillian S. (Goncz) Rash of Sarasota, FL; three grandchildren Madeline Sedler, Michael Sedler Robert Sedler.
Also survived by a daughter Richona Sedler and a dear family friend John Bires of Bethlehem. Predeceased by a brother Robert Sedler, Sr, sisters Lucille Hottenstien, and Mona Henninger.
Service: There will be calling hour on Tuesday September 13, 2016 from 10AM to 11 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM in the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center St. Bethlehem.
