Doris R. Wenhold, 91 of Bethlehem passed away on February 26, 2022 at Alexandria Manor in Nazareth.  She was the wife of the late Thomas W. James who passed in 1964 and the late Robert L. Wenhold who passed in 2006.

Doris was born in Schuylkill Haven, PA on December 28, 1930, daughter of the late Lewis C. and Ruth (Hinkle) Grover.

Doris was a secretary at NCR retiring after 25 years.

Doris was an active member of Lehigh Valley Grace Brethren Church in Bethlehem.  She served on the Child Evangelism Fellowship, Bible Study Fellowship, Bright Hope Pregnancy Center in Bethlehem.  She was an avid skier until she was 70 and taught  her grandchildren to ski.

Survivors:  Daughter Kathy A. Washburn wife of George of Saylorsburg, sons Steven G. James husband of Doris of Yardley, PA  and Thomas A. James husband of Janis of Bethlehem Twp.; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sister Patricia A. Thomas of Palo Alto, PA.  Predeceased by a brother Bruce Grover.

Viewing and Service:  Wednesday March 2, 2022, viewing 10AM to 11:30AM followed by the Funeral Service at 11:30AM  all at LV Grace Brethren Church 580 Bridle Path Road in Bethlehem, PA  18017.

Burial:  Thursday March 3, 2022 at 2PM in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery  (Section H)
