Albert W. Kirchner, Sr., 79, of Center Valley passed away on June 29, 2023 surrounded by his family at Belle Terrace Health Care Center in Quakertown.  He was the husband of Ruth M. (DeLong) Kirchner, they were married 40 years on March 5^th.

Al was born in Allentown on October 2, 1943 son of the late Ellsworth P. And Marian (Tettemer) Kirchner, Sr.

Al graduated from William Allen High School in 1961.

He was a crane operator for the Bethlehem Steel Company, retiring after 33 years.

Al was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Allentown.

He was a Life Member of the Mountainville Fire Company, life member of the Hogan Social Club where Al was the original Hogan Baby for 37 years, life member of UNAM Rod& Gun Club, VP and President of the Mountainville Auxiliary for several years.   Al was also Vice President & President of South Allentown schoolmates and member of the reunion committee for the class of 1961.

Al and Ruth cruised the world traveling to Hong Kong, Alaska to Thailand, Europe, around the horn, Panama Canal and Hawaii.

Survivors:  Wife Ruth, son Albert W. Kirchner, Jr., daughters Michelle Kromer, Suszelle Holschwander,

Sister Elsie M. Schey wife of Donald, sister in law Sandra Kirchner; grandchildren Chad Kirchner and Ashley Holschwander.  Predeceased by a son Mark Kirchner and a brother Ellsworth P. “Bud” Kirchner, Jr.
