Linda R. Spengler, 78 of Allentown passed away on February 2, 2024 at the Devon House in Allentown.

Linda was born in Allentown on August 7, 1945 daughter of the late Kenneth C. and Ruth S. (Christman) Spengler.

Those who knew Linda remember  her as a generous and giving person.  When her Mother passed away, she moved in with her Father and took care of him for 8 years. When her friends got sick Linda drove them to their doctor’s appointments, went shopping and cooked meals for them.

Linda  graduated from William Allen High School where she was an accomplished basketball player scoring 45 points one game and the next 50 points.  She also played for the Allentown Crestettes in the 1960’s.   She enjoyed watching girls basketball both college and pro.

She worked at Pantry Pride for many years and later owned her own small business.

Linda will be greatly missed by her brother Keith and his friend Patti of Bethlehem, her two nephews Justin and Matthew.  Besides her friends, watching girls basketball and going to the casino, the loves of her life were her two nephews Justin and Matthew.
