Carmelo “Papo” Ramos Marrero, 81 of Emmaus passed away on May 10, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Yolanda Rosado, they were together for over 43 years.

Carmelo was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico on July 16, 1942 son of the late Andres Ramos and Juanita Marrero.

He was a welder.

Survivors:  Wife Yolanda Ramos, children William Vega (Carmen), Andy Vega (Yolanda) , Tashena Salcedo (Jonathan), Milagros Vega (Farid), Carmelo Ramos, Arlyne Ramos, Angel Ramos, Joshua Ramos, Moses Ramos,Rachel Ramos, Daniel Ramos, David Ramos ; siblings Mildred Carrasco Ramos wife of Victor Carrasco, Luis Ramos husband of Noemi Ramos Santos, Miriam Ramos, Sonia Avila wife of Luis Antonio Avila and Andres (“Andy”) Ramos; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
