Richard Frederick Falusy
Richard Frederick Falusy, 80, died Tuesday August 27, in Condell Hospital, Antioch, IL He was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
He graduated from Liberty High School in 1962 and Lehigh University in 1966. Rick spent 2 years in the U.S. Army serving in Germany. Rick worked several years for RCA and New Holland Tractor Co in PA until the company was bought by Case, at which point he was transferred to Windsor, England for 3 years, then transferred to Case New Holland Industrial in Racine, WI. During his time with Case New Holland, Rick also worked in Puerto Rico and Brazil, all adding up to 43 years of service.
Rick most recently lived in Antioch IL and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Lake Forest where he sang in the choir and played in the Bell Choir.
Richard was predeceased by parents Frank and Clara (Hottle) Falusy and brother, Ronald (wife Mary).
Surviving Richard are his sister Janice Weitzel of Lancaster, PA and two nephews, Jeffrey Weitzel (wife Linda) of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Douglas Weitzel (wife Maureen) of Hamilton, NJ, as well as one grand-niece, Katelin (husband Peter Hartzell), and three grand-nephews, James, Alexander and Eric Weitzel.
