Anna May Mehalshick, 89 of Bethlehem died on October 7, 2017 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Wife of the late Joseph Mehalshick, Sr. for 57 years until his death on June 20, 2003.

Anna May was born in Hazleton on November 9, 1927 daughter of the late George and Mary (Minndick) Brown.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill for many years.

Anna May was a member of St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Survivors: Her son Joseph Mehalshick, Jr. wife of Faye of Laurey’s Station, daughters Cheryl Haney wife of Rod of Hellertown and Candy Sculley wife of Pat of Whitehall, five grandchildren Robert Parente husband of Toni, Leslie McDonald, Rose Atkins wife of Chad, Annie Muehlenkamp wife of Jeff and Rachel Sculley; five great grandchildren Taylor, Gracelynn, Peyton, Morgan and Marley.

Services: Private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are by the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Street Bethlehem, PA.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital all in care of the Funeral Home.
