Argiro P. Zanakos, 90 of Bethlehem passed away on January 22, 2025.  She was the wife of Nicholas M. Zanakos, they would have been married 69 years on August 27^th.

Argiro was born in Bethlehem on October 15, 1934 daughter of the late George and Angeline (Nafpliotis) Petrakis.

She graduated from Liberty  High School and then studied at Moore Institute of Art in Philadelphia.

She was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral.  She sang  soprano in the Cathedral Choir for many years and was a member of the Seniors of the Cathedral.

Survivors:  Her husband Nicholas M. Zanakos, their three children  sons James Zanakos and Dr. Nicholas M. Zanakos husband of Gwendolyn, and  a daughter Angeline, two grandchildren and  three great-grandchildren.

Viewing & Service:  Friday January 31, 2025, viewing 10AM to 11AM followed by the Funeral at 11AM all at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral 1607 West Union Blvd. Bethlehem.  Entombment in the Mausoleum at Cedar Hill in Allentown.
