Arlene Ann Bartolomei, 84 of Bethlehem, formerly of Hamilton Twp, NJ and St. James, SC, passed away at home on March 16, 2024 surrounded by her family.   She was the wife of John Angelo Bartolomei.  They would have celebrated 62 beautiful years of marriage on June 23^rd.

Arlene was born in Trenton, NJ on July 26, 1939, daughter of the late Peter and Eleanor (Zielinski) Frascella.

She graduated from Trenton State College with a BA in Education.

Arlene was an Elementary School teacher in the Hamilton Township School District in NJ and also taught at St. Raphael’s Parochial School, also in Hamilton Twp., NJ.

Arlene was an avid golfer, loved to shop and her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors:  Husband John, sons Gary J. Bartolomei of Bethlehem and Marc J. Bartolomei, husband of Michelle L. of Macungie, and grandchildren Gianna and Evan Bartolomei.  Predeceased by a granddaughter Carina, and a brother Norman Frascella.
