Carly Joan Grozier
Carly Joan Grozier, 20, of Bethlehem, passed away surrounded by her loving friends and family on January 17, 2024, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born in Bethlehem on March 4, 2003, Carly was known for her vibrant personality, fighting spirit, sass, and sense of humor. Carly is survived by her parents, Catherine A. Given and Vance J. Grozier, brother Kenneth C. Grozier of Philadelphia, sister Connor M. Grozier of West Chester, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Kenneth M. and Joyce S. Given, and paternal grandfather, Robert C. Grozier. Carly was baptized at First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem.
Carly graduated from Freedom High School in 2021, where she played lacrosse and was a contributor to the Freedom Forum and sports media program. She attended Northampton Community College and was a junior at West Virginia University, where she studied communication and social media and played lacrosse.
Carly was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support she received from her friends, family, her healthcare team, and community during the last months of her life. She was many things—a daughter, niece, cousin, and friend. Carly was an athlete, comedian, and fashionista. Most importantly, she was a kind and generous person who never failed to put the needs of others over her own.
Visitation: Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 6 PM to 9 PM in the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Street Bethlehem, PA 18018.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 11 AM with a visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 2344 Center Street Bethlehem, PA 18017. Private burial in Seaside Cemetery in Marmora, NJ. www.Herronfuneralhomes.com
