Evangelos G. Paximadas, 93, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Zakinthinou) Paximadas. Together, they celebrated 61 years of marriage on January 26th.

Born on November 3, 1931, in Athens, Greece, Evangelos was the son of the late Gregory and Hariklia Paximadas.

He was the proud owner of Angelo’s Tailoring in Allentown, where he served the community with skill and dedication for over 40 years until his retirement.

Evangelos was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria; daughter Dimitra Anastasopoulos, wife of Vasili; son Gregory Paximadas, husband of Lilia; and four cherished grandchildren: Maria Lafatas, Anastasia Anastasopoulos, Eleni Paximadas, and Evan Paximadas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Efthemia Markopoulos, and brothers Sotiris Paximadas, Nickolas Paximadas, and Meletios Paximadas.

Services: A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, all at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 West Union Blvd., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Allentown.
