Florence B. “Flo” Martin, 83 of Bethlehem passed away on April 14, 2021 under Hospice Care at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.  Flo was the wife of the late Robert Martin for 36 years until he passed on March 20, 1997.

Flo was born in Bethlehem on July 8, 1937 and was one of ten children born to the late Roland and Barbara (Schalder) Sterner.

Flo was a dedicated and proud mother who always found time to place her family first. Flo was a loyal and trusted friend and was thoughtful and kind to all who crossed her path. She loved the outdoors and had a particular passion for the beach, tennis and skiing. She was the ultimate hostess, entertaining guests at her in home ice cream parlor, dancing by the jukebox, or outside by the pool.

Flo worked many years at the family owned businesses of Martin Discount Center and Martin Volkswagen.

She was a sales associate at Strawbridge and Clothier, John Wanamaker and their affiliates.  While employed in the fine dress department, she took pride in satisfying her customers and creating personal relationships.

Survivors:  Son Dennis A. Martin husband of Jan L. of Barto, PA, daughter Robin L. Martin of Bethlehem,

granddaughter Rachel L. Petraglia of Boston, MA, and Flo’s fiancé Robert Vrancken of Bethlehem.

Memorial Service:  Calling hours from 12:30 to 1:30 on Monday April 19, 2021 at the Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center Street Bethlehem followed by her Memorial Service at 1:30PM. Burial in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.  For directions please go to www.Herronfuneralhomes.com
