H. Jayne (Lindenmuth) Mihalik, age 93, of Allentown died on December 20, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. She was the wife of the late Raymond John Mihalik and they were married for 66 years. Jayne was born in Mahanoy City, PA on January 6, 1923, daughter of the late Irvin and Mayme (Cunningham) Lindenmuth. Jayne graduated from Mahanoy City High School in 1940 and the Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1944. She was a nurse at Sacred Heart from 1944 to 1947. She worked as a nurse at the International Ladies Garment Workers Union from 1952 to 1955. She began a new career at Air Products Specialty Gases from 1969 until her retirement in 1980. Jayne was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren participate their various sporting endeavors. She was a prolific baker and her holiday treats will be missed by all in her family.

Survivors: three sons, Dr. Brian J. Mihalik, husband of Linda of Columbia, SC, S. Michael Mihalik, husband of Virginia of Allentown and Christopher M. Mihalik, husband of Gina of Schnecksville; six grandchildren, Gregory, Jennifer, Michael, Mark, Valerie and Kevin; three great grandchildren, Justin, Jared and Gabriel. Predeceased by her sister Helen E. Leapoal.   Jayne was predeceased by her beloved dog Scruffy.

Service: Funeral Service on Friday December 23, 2016 at 12 noon in the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown. There will be a viewing from 10:30Am to 12 noon in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Allentown.
