Inge Meyers
Inge Meyers (Lohmann) of Kempton peacefully passed away on November 30, 2023 at the age of 81. She and her loving husband, the late John Meyers, were married 57 years.
Inge was born in Andernach, Germany to the late Johannes and El Frieda Lohmann (Dierdorf). Inge grew up in the Rhineland region of Germany prior to her immigrating to the US in 1964. She was proud to become a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1972.
Inge worked a total of 36 years at Sacred Heart Hospital and Lehigh Valley Health Network in the medical records department.
Her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren were the joy of her life.
Inge had a zest for life and people. She loved the outdoors, gardening, dancing, biking and camping. She was a true believer in God’s word and would often say that God has a plan for all of us.
Survivors, her daughter Heidi Yost and partner Brian Rasich of Bethlehem, son Andrew Meyers and wife Lisa Meyers (Fendrich)of New Tripoli, all of her 5 grandchildren and 4.75 great-grandchildren, sister Doris Mapstone (Lohman) and husband Gary, sister Irmgard Kanengeiser (Lohman) nephew Benny Kanengeiser and niece Kristine Signorini.
