Jerome J. “Joe” Pawlowski
Jerome J. “Joe” Pawlowski, 77 of Allentown passed away on March 4, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Bernadette (Pacelli) Pawlowski they were married 40 years on October 1st.
Joe was born in Mays Landing, NJ on April 1, 1946 son of the late Ethel Mason.
He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of VFW Post #9246.
He owned and operated Papa Joe’s Subs and More at the Allentown Farmers Market for many years.
Joe was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Allentown where he was a member of Men of St. Thomas More.
He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed watching horseracing, was an avid bowler at the Rose Bowl Allentown on the senior league and enjoyed going to the casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors: His wife Bernadette, daughter Jacqueline M. Pawlowski wife of James Zee, Jr. of Germany and Italy, son Jeffrey Pawlowski of Allentown, three grandchildren, half-brothers David Goode of Whitby, Canada and Robert Eckenrode of Port Richey, Florida.
Viewing & Funeral Mass: Saturday March 9, 2024, viewing 12:30PM to 1:15PM followed by the Mass at 1:30PM all at St. Thomas More RCC 1040 Flexer Avenue Allentown, PA 18103. Military Honors presented by the VFW Post# 9246 will follow the Mass. Burial will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newton, PA.
