His longtime service to wrestling earned him induction into the District XI Wrestling Hall of Fame, EIWA Wrestling Hall of Fame and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. An avid golfer, Larry enjoyed memberships at various clubs in the area, including Saucon Valley Country Club. While known for his putting skills, Larry recorded two holes-in-one, with his last one at the age of 79.
