Marianne Eckman a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife of 50 years passed away on December 10, 2023 at the age of 74. She resided in Macungie with her husband Dean.

Marianne was born in Coatesville, PA on August 21, 1949 the only daughter of the late Norman and Margaret (Kinsey) Yost.

Marianne held fast to her Christian faith.

She was a teacher’s aide at Honey Brook Elementary School in the Twin Valley School District for many years. She dedicated herself to helping children succeed. The students loved seeing her smiling face and hearing her cheerful voice. Mrs. Eckman was a well-loved part of the staff.

After retiring as a teacher’s aide she turned a long time hobby and passion into her job. She worked tirelessly in her business called “Just ME Krafts”.  When she wasn’t in her wood shop, Marianne loved to read, listen to music and sing.

Survivors:  Husband Dean, daughter Jessica J. Kohler wife of David T. of Macungie, three grandchildren Ryleigh, Raegan and Makenzie; brothers Norman “Skip” Yost husband of Mary of West Chester, David Yost of Coatesville and Dennis Yost husband of Jean of Coatesville.
