Marie Joan Bonekemper, 94 of Allentown passed away at home on September 16, 2024.  She was the wife of the late George W. Bonekemper.

Marie was born in Philadelphia daughter of the late Howard and Sarah M. (Turner) Bryant.

She was Secretary at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Allentown retiring after many years.

She was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Trexlertown.

Survivors:  Daughter Lynne Wert wife of Barton of Allentown, sons John D. Griffith  husband of Darlene of Saylorsburg, Walter H. Griffith, III husband of Linda of Modesto, CA  and Frank E. Griffith husband of Julia of Allentown. She had 7 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

She loved always and was treasured and loved by her family and many friends.

Visitation & Service:  Saturday September 28, 2024, visitation 9:00 AM-9:45 AM,  service at 10AM, all at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church 6667 Lower Macungie Rd Trexlertown, PA  18067.  Burial in Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Allentown following the service.
