Pantelis “Peter” Roufakis
Pantelis “Peter” Roufakis, 74 of Bethlehem, PA, died on June 29, 2017 surrounded by his family at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Peter was the husband of Amalia (Vergete) Roufakis, they would have been married 49 years on June 30th.Peter was born on January 13, 1943 in Dafnonas, Chios, Greece, son of the late Konstantinos and Eftehia (Stoupakis) Roufakis.He was the co-owner of Ariston Kitchens and P&P Homes in Bethlehem for many years.Peter was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem. He was an active member of Dafnonas Chios Society, the Order of AHEPA, Homer Chapter #65 of Bethlehem and the Goodfellows of Bethlehem.
Survivors: His wife Amalia, their daughter Eftehia, granddaughters Marianna and Georgia all of Bethlehem; brother Vangelis of Chios, Greece, godson Michael Axiotis and many family and friends here and in Greece.
Service: Funeral Service on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 11 AM, with a viewing from 10AM to 11 AM in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral 1607 West Union Blvd. in Bethlehem, PA 18018. There will be a viewing on Wednesday evening from 6PM to 9 PM, with a Trisagion Service at 8PM followed by an AHEPA Service at 8:30 PM in the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Streets in Bethlehem, PA 18018.
