Phyllis Belverio, 80 of Freemansburg, Pennsylvania died on January 22, 2020 at Manor Care in Bethlehem. Phyllis was the wife of the late Ronald M. Costa who died on June 6, 1970.

Phyllis was born on August 2, 1939 in Newark, NJ. Daughter of the late Ralph and Esther (Meo) Belverio.

Phyllis worked as a bookkeeper in accounts receivable and payable for various companies throughout her career, until she retired. She enjoyed 50’s music, playing scrabble with her siblings, spending time at the Jersey shore with family. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors: Daughter Maria Costa Hofmann, son Ronald Costa and wife Debbie, brother Ralph A. Belverio, sisters Barbara, and husband Miguel Verdugo, Patricia and husband Anthony Nardiello, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a son-in-law John J. Hofmann, Jr.

Service: Calling hour on Saturday February 29, 2020 from 1PM to 2PM followed by a Memorial Service at 2PM in the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Street Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
