Rita J. Sparrow, 83 of Allentown passed away on March 25, 2021.  Rita was the wife of the late Alonzo Sparrow for 47 years until his passing on August 3, 2015.

Rita was born in Rochester, NY on April 4, 1937, daughter of the late Henry and Josephine (Donadoni) Herzog.

She was a Community Liaison for the Bethlehem Police Department for many years.    Rita was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Allentown.

Survivors: Daughter Cynthia  J. Beck wife of Thomas of Center Valley, sons Ronald Hoyt of Wyncote and Daniel Hoyt husband of Yris of Northampton, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Viewing & Service: Wednesday April 7, 2021, viewing 9AM to 10AM, service at 10AM all at the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown.  Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
