Roberta M. “Bobbie” Carraghan, 79 of Bethlehem passed away on January 7, 2024 surrounded by her family at at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill.  She was the wife of the late Harry Q. Carraghan.

Roberta was born in Bethlehem on August 16, 1944, daughter of the late Robert C. and Mary J. (Maio) Brueningsen.

She was a crane operator at the Bethlehem steel retiring after many years.

Roberta was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Roberta will be greatly missed by all!

Survivors:  Daughters Mary Jo wife of Robert Looney, Kim wife of Scott Pulley, Marnie, Marla and Elizabeth, sons Frankie, Samuel and Sonny; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by a daughter Melanie at birth, son Albert Paul Kemp, III, sister Phyllis A. Bambu and brother Ronald T.  Brueningsen.

Viewing and Service: Thursday January 11, 2024, viewing 10AM to 12noon followed by the service at 12 noon at the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center Street Bethlehem, PA  18018.  Burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. www.Herronfuneralhomes.com
