Rose M. Harris, 90 of Allentown died on January 6, 2018 in Lehigh Valley hospital-Cedar Crest. Rose was the wife of the late Elmer J. “Tugs” Harris for 51 years until his death on December 22, 2002.

Rose was born in Hazleton on September 1, 1927, daughter of the late Dominic and Grace (Zaccaro) Macripo.

She did clerical work at Mack Trucks, Allentown General Hospital and Penn State Mills for many years.

She was Catholic.

Survivors: Three sons Dan M. of Allentown, Michael J. of Lehighton and Thomas R. Sikler of Florida; daughter Dolores G. of Macungie; sister Terry of Easton, brother Frank of Florida; four grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Cynthia.

Service: Viewing on Tuesday January 16, 2018 at 9:30AM to 10:30 AM followed by her funeral service at 10:30 AM in the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
