Shane Patrick Boyle
Shane Patrick Boyle, 44 , it is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Shane on March 18th, 2024, surrounded by his devoted wife and children after bravely battling cancer for nearly six years.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, Shane grew up in Easton, PA, where he attended Notre Dame High School and Bethlehem VoTech.
In his formative years, Shane enjoyed volunteering with the God’s Rainbow organization and expressed his creativity as a drummer for the band, Blueberry Oolong. His love for the outdoors and knack for craftsmanship led him to establish a successful plumbing business, embracing the freedom of self-employment. Shane married the love of his life in 2009, Jennifer (Hower) Boyle, and together they have two young boys, Davin and Keiran Boyle.
Throughout his journey, Shane’s infectious laughter, passion for serving others, and genuine kindness endeared him to all who crossed his path. His massively magnetic personality illuminated every room as he effortlessly spread joy and humor with jokes and spontaneous dance moves.
An avid outdoorsman, Shane found solace in fishing, 4-wheeling, and treasure hunting for Indian artifacts, cherishing moments shared with his beloved family. Although he may be gone from this world, Shane’s legacy of love and selflessness will forever reside in the hearts of those he touched.
Above all, Shane wished for others to embrace the path to eternal life through faith, echoing the words of Matthew 7:13-14. “Come to God through the narrow gate, because the wide gate and broad path is the way that leads to destruction—nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life—so few even find it!”
He leaves behind a loving legacy, survived by his adoring wife Jenny, sons Davin and Keiran, parents James and Patricia Boyle, brothers Ryan (Jaime) Boyle and Casey (Janie) Boyle, supportive in-laws Ned and Linda Hower, cherished nephews, and a vast circle of dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 22, 2024, at Blue Valley Farm Show in Bangor, PA, where loved ones will gather to honor and cherish Shane’s memory from 2 PM to 4 PM. www.Herronfuneralhomes.com
