Susan Margaret Raring, 55, of Bethlehem passed away suddenly on November 24, 2023 at St. Luke’s- Anderson Hospital.  She was the beloved daughter of the late F. Robert Raring and Elizabeth W. Raring of Bethlehem. Susan is survived by her sister, Carolyn Raring and her husband, David McGee of Bethlehem, and her sister, Elissa O’Hara and her husband, Christopher of Winchester, MA.  She was the adored aunt of Jack, Grace, and Kate O’Hara.

Susan was a 1987 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and a lifelong parishioner of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church.  An active member of the parish, she was a current member of the 55+ Club and has served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, and choir member.  Susan enjoyed her volunteer work and most recently was a dedicated volunteer at the St. Luke’s Hospital Gift Shop and at Holy Family Manor.

Susan loved and was deeply loved by her family, and she will truly be missed. She was a bright light and a beautiful person inside and out, always ready to greet you with her million-dollar smile.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 am at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem. The family will receive guests preceding the Mass at 10:30 am. Burial will be private.
