Susan Suzu Finady, 91 of Slatington passed away on October 26, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late William H. Finady.

Susan was born in Kagoshima, Japan on August 19, 1933 oldest child of seven born to the late Shozo and Yukie (Tateici) Yoshimoto.

She worked at Arbor of the Moons Enchantment in Northampton, was a Whitehall Special Police Crossing Guard for many years  and was a clothing clerk at the Army Navy Store.

Susan enjoyed gardening was an excellent Japanese cook.

Survivors:  Daughters Linda  H. Walker wife of David of Slatington  and Janet B. Hough wife of William of Tidioute, PA  , son Alan N. Finady of Whitehall, granddaughter Heather Hagerup wife of Kristian, great-grandson Milo.    Also survived by a brother  Norihiro Yoshimoto and sister  Hisako Omoto both of Japan.
