Tacey Jean Funk, 88, of Bethlehem, PA went to be with her Saviour Jesus on March 28, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Thomas O. Funk, Jr.  Tacey was born in Wilmington, DE on June 19, 1935, daughter of the late Vernon T. and Mabel C. Young.   Her family moved to Bethlehem in 1945, where her father and later her brothers owned Hess Pharmacy.

She was a graduate of Moravian College and Northampton Community College.  Tacey enjoyed being an Early Childhood Education teacher at United Ceramal Palsy which later became VIA in Bethlehem.

Tacey will be fondly remembered by her son David Funk and his wife Sandra (Sandy)  and daughter Kimberly O’Shall and her husband Steve.   She was predeceased by her brothers Ronald and Barry Young.

For over 30 years Tacey created the altar and sanctuary decorations for her beloved Life in Christ Church in Bethlehem.

A Celebration of Tacey’s Life will be held at Life in Christ Church, 51 Hillmond Street Bethlehem, PA  18018 on Saturday April 6, 2024 at 1PM.   Tacey loved  desserts so a dessert reception will be held after the service in the Church.
