Jean R. Powell, 91 of Bethlehem Township, died on June 5, 2018 at Old Orchard Manor Care in Easton.  She was the wife of the late David William Powell.

Jean was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on July 15, 1926, daughter of the late Howard Sr. and May Harriet (Lynn) Lamoreaux.

She was a former member of Wesley Methodist Church.

Survivors:  Son Timothy H. Powell and his wife Janet; sisters Bernice Nolan and Lois Birkel , both of Tavares, FL; two grandsons Timothy D. Powell and Thomas Freitas; four great-grandchildren Julie, Abby, Jacob and Davey.  Predeceased by son David W. Powell, Jr. on Jan 22, 1979 and daughter Cathy Lynn Freitas on Aug 25, 1996,  grandson David W. Powell, III, brother Howard Lamoreaux, sister Laura Hazeltine.

Service:  Viewing on Friday, June 8^th from 11AM-12 noon followed by the service at 12 noon in the John F. Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center Street, Bethlehem, PA.  Burial, Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
