Marilyn May Hendricks, 74 of Allentown died on September 10, 2016 surrounded by her family at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of 52 years to Robert J. Hendricks, Sr.

Marilyn was born in Allentown on November 8, 1941, daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Richards) Buss.

She was the owner of Celebrate Children Child Care Home for many years.

She was a member of Living Stone in New Tripoli.

Survivors: Her husband Robert, daughter Sharon DiLorenze wife of Frank of Allentown, two grandsons Robert and Luke DiLorenzo; sister Sharon George of Allentown and brother Lawrence Buss, Jr. of Whitehall. Predeceased   by a son Robert J. Hendricks, Jr. in 1988.

Service: There will be a viewing on Wednesday September 14, 2016 from 10AM to 11 AM followed by her funeral service at 11 AM in the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street in Allentown.
