Brian E. Dean, 72, of Allentown passed away at home on May 17, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Husband of Joanne M. (Hennessy) Dean for over 40 years.

Brian was born in Astoria, NY on November 14, 1947, son of the late George and Catherine (Gilronan) Dean.

He was a cable splicer for Verizon, formerly NY Telephone Company.  He retired from Verizon after over 30 years.  Brian was a hardworking man who enjoyed doing home repairs and renovations as well as building things.  He was always tinkering with his tools.  He also enjoyed lifting weights and his home gym.  Brian was a real family man who enjoyed spending time with his six children.

Survivors:  His wife Joanne, sons Brian J. Dean husband of Tammy, Michael E. Dean husband of Tiffany and Joseph V. Dean husband of Tanya; daughters Joanne M. Aquilina, Sharon A. Kean wife of Ian and Kellyann Dean; brothers Robert Dean and James Dean; sister Kathleen Tyrrell;

12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Predeceased by a brother George Dean.

Service:  Private and burial at Pinelawn  Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY.
