Ruthy S. Silva, 64 of Bethlehem passed away on August 26, 2022 surrounded by her family at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of Nicholas Silva, Sr. , they would have been married 47 years.

Ruthy was born in Bethlehem on September 6, 1957 daughter of the late Richard and Ruth (Williams) Thomas.

She was a dietician at Kidspeace for over 25 years.

Ruthy was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Salisbury Twp.

She loved the beach,  salsa dancing, spending time with her  precious grandchildren and her loving family.

Survivors:  Her husband Nicholas, daughter Marijalien Bass wife of Rahim  of Salisbury Twp., son Nicholas Silva, Jr. husband of Lauren  of Bethlehem Twp.;  6 grandchildren Demicia Ortiz, Tatianna Rivera, Destiny Silva, Mykayla Stark, Nicholas Silva, III, Frankie Raine Silva, great-grandson Jahsiah W. James;  brothers Emil Thomas husband of Sue, Richard Thomas husband of Diana of Bethlehem, sisters Linda Thomas of Bethlehem, Marilyn Roth wife of Scott of Albrightsville, Sandra Boyer wife of Andy of Bethlehem and Judith Thomas of Bethlehem.
