James E. Solarek, 66 of Salisbury Township passed away at home on September 19, 2022.

He was the husband of Susan (Moyer) Solarek, they would have been married 39 years on February 18^th.

James was born in Freeland on April 7, 1956, son of the late Raymond and Hannah (Carter) Solarek.

He was a production worker for Mopac/JBS for  35 years until he retired in July 2021.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. And loved watching his kids and grandkids playing sports.

Survivors: Wife Susan, son Billy J. Moyer (Alicia) of Coplay, daughters Lisa M. Solarek of Northampton and Tara L. Solarek of Salisbury Twp.; brothers Donald Solarek (Pamela) of Simpsonville, SC and Michael Solarek (Karen) of Coplay, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
