Dorothea I. “Dottie” Altemose Bowers, 76 of Bethlehem passed away on October 13, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Gordon Altemose who passed in 1994 and the late Leroy Bowers who passed in 2020.

Dottie was born in Fountain Hill on January 1, 1946 daughter of the late Robert and Rita (Gable) Werner.

She was a bookkeeper at Neffs Bank for many years.

Dottie was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church.

Survivors:  Son Scott R. Altemose husband of Kelly of Whitehall, daughter Nancy Travisano wife ofMichael Klaum of Fountain Hill, three grandchildren Adam Saunders, Chase Altemose and Raegan Altemose, two great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Maddox Saunders.  Predeceased by sisters Joanne Trippett and Maryann Jacoby.

Viewing and Service:  Wednesday October 19, 2022, viewing 10AM to 11AM followed by the funeral service at 11AM in the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Street Bethlehem.  Burial to follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. www.Herronfuneralhomes.com
