Carolyn Ruth Carlson, 76 of Bethlehem passed away at home surrounded by her family on November 19, 2022.  She was the wife of Jan Paul Carlson, they were married 54 years on June 15^th.

Carolyn was born in Philadelphia on September 15, 1946, daughter of the late Dr. Raymond and Gladys (Lumley) Blood.

She graduated from Boston School of Nursing in 1968 and worked as a registered nurse at Wellesley College in the Infirmary for many years.

She was a lifelong member of Fisk United Methodist Church in Natick, MA.

Carolyn was an avid gardener, painter, collected depression era glass, had an extensive doll collection loved to travel the world with her husband and enjoyed food.

Survivors:  Husband Jan, daughters Jen Carlson wife of Brian Jacobson of Seattle, WA and Sarah Carlson Summer wife of Steve of Allentown, sons Ben Carlson husband of Monika of Dobbs Ferry, NY and Sean Carlson of Worcester, MA; grandchildren Ethan Summer and Paige Carlson; brother Kenneth Blood of Philadelphia.  Predeceased by a brother Paul Blood.
