Alexander J. Jacoski
Alexander J. Jacoski, Sr, of Elysburg, PA passed away on September 17, 2017. He lived a vibrant life for 93 years. He was the husband of Ramona Dulko Jacoski who passed in May of 2003. They were married for 52 years.
Alex attended Coal Township High and served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Currytuck. He was trained as an electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Shamokin. Alex embraced life to the fullest. He loved gardening, working crossword puzzles, was an avid card player and a Phillies fan.
Survivors: Alex was blessed with a beautiful family. He was proud of his children; Alex, Jr, Barbara and her husband Gary Hardin and Kathy and her husband Jeffrey Putt along with 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was loved by his extended family including brother Robert and wife Gretchen, his late brother, Eddie and wife Rosemary, and their families. Our dad was also blessed with many caring friends from his Church community including the Knights of Columbus in Elysburg and residents of Traditions of Hanover in Bethlehem. His Traditions friends became another extended family towards us all. He will be truly missed!
Services: Services will be held on Oct 21, 2017 at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Elysburg, PA. The service will begin with a visitation at 10:00 followed by a Mass at 11:00 and burial at All Saints Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Church. Funeral arrangements are by the Herron Funeral Home and Herron Crematory in Bethlehem, PA.
