It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Annie Porrata-Doria, on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the age of 77 years. She passed away at home surrounded by family. Annie was an administrator for La Trinidad United Methodist Church before retiring in the early 1990’s. She also volunteered at Casa Guadalupe, St. Luke’s Hospital (Zipper Club), voter’s registration drives and served at different capacities for Hogar Crea Steering Committee. Annie was a mother, sister and friend to many. She welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Mercedes Diaz and Salvador Bermudez. Annie was the wife of the late Belisario Porrata-Doria.

Annie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Addirys Lugo-Bermudez, sisters Rosa Bermudez, Carmen Bermudez, Luz Bermudez, Grace Rivera, Nora Bermudez, Mildred LoGiudice, Ivette Bermudez, Blanca and Orealis Bermudez, brothers Luis Bermudez, Edwin Bermudez, Axel and Salvador Bermudez; many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Annie will also be fondly remembered by everyone whose life she touched with her generosity and kindness.

A service in memory of Annie will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with a calling from 2PM to 3PM in John. F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center Street, Bethlehem, PA.
