Barbara Veronikis
Barbara Veronikis, 90 of Bethlehem passed away at home on June 4, 2020. Wife of the late Kosmas C. Veronikis who passed away in 1990. Barbara was born in Pireaus, Greece on November 26, 1929, daughter of the late George and Irini (Kapiris) Kaloudis.
She was a seamstress at Bethlehem Tongs and following her retirement she worked as a fruit cutter in the produce department of Weis Market.
Barbara was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Bethlehem.
Barbara enjoyed making people laugh, dancing, cooking, entertaining guests and sharing with those she loved.
Survivors: Son Dr. Dionysios K. Veronikis and his wife Dr. Irini E. Veronikis, daughter Penelope Veronikis, sister Kyriaki Kokolis, five grandchildren Maria, Barbara and Costas Paxos, Angeline and Constantine Veronikis, son in law John Paxos, sister in law Meli Kaloudis, many nieces and nephews both in the USA and Greece, and her beloved Yorkie dog Bentley.
Predeceased by a sister Sophia Nikolaidou, brothers Vasili, Michael and Alekos Kaloudis.
Viewing: There will be a Drive Thru or Walk Up Viewing on Wednesday June 10th from 6pm to 8pm using the Center Street Entrance of the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center Street Bethlehem.
Service: Private Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Thursday at 11AM, using the following stnicholas.org/Veronikis , the link will be available 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Service. Private burial in Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Allentown.
