Earl G. “Rocky” Heacock, Jr.
Earl G. “Rocky” Heacock, Jr., 89 of Bethlehem Township died on January 9, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Floretta M. (MacHose) Heacock for 41 years.
Rocky was born in Bethlehem, PA on March 17, 1928 son of the late Earl G. and Grace (Wellert) Heacock.
He was a Master Pattern Maker for the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 42 years and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Rocky spent time volunteering for Minsi Trail Boy Scouts for 20 years, Musikfest for 10 years, Christkindlmarkt for 4 years and the Cancer Boutique for 4 years. He was a member of the Bethlehem Masonic Lodge 283, the American Legion in Hellertown, the Tall Cedars Travel Club and the Amateur Radio Club.
He was a member of St. Thomas UCC in Bethlehem.
Survivors: Wife Floretta; daughters Judy Agnew and husband William of Bethlehem, Joy Updegrove of Bath and Jane Hariegle and husband William of Ballietsville/Whitehall; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Service: Private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are by the John F. Herron Funeral Home and Herron Crematory in Bethlehem.
