Elwood Frank Brinker
Elwood Frank Brinker, 92 of Bethlehem passed away on November 15, 2021 at Country Meadows in Bethlehem surrounded by his family.
Elwood was born in Easton Pa, on January 27, 1929. Husband of the late Barbara Ann (Brose) Brinker.
He was a member of Christ Church UCC in Bethlehem where he served as a greeter and usher for 50 years.
Elwood graduated from National College of Chiropractic in 1951. After meeting Barbara in Chicago, they wed and moved to Bethlehem where he started his practice and raised their family.
After his retirement, he pursued his favorite pastime of refinishing Antique furniture. He opened “The Main House” with Barbara who created floral and craft items. They truly enjoyed their new venture.
During his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing on the Lackawaxen and Delaware rivers. He loved to explore the great outdoors.
Survivors: His two daughters Gayle Ann Brinker partner of John Drinkard and Sandra Lynn Berkey wife of Victor, son Glenn Elwood Brinker husband of Michele all of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren Tucker Shosh husband of Teague, Cameron Shosh, Casey Shosh partner of Emily Hersh, Charles Berkey and Alexandrea Berkey, Jessica Brinker and Madeline Brinker. Four great grandchildren Riley and Katelyn Shosh; Delaney Shosh and Dax Hersh.
Service: There will be a viewing on Friday November 19, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center Street Bethlehem. Burial, in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. www.Herronfuneralhomes.com
