Irma G. Longenberger
Irma G. Longenberger, 97 of Bethlehem passed away in the Loving Arms of Jesus, her Savior in Heaven, on July 9, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Irma was born in Salisbury Twp. on September 9, 1925, daughter of the late Henry and Lucretia (Butz) Laible. Irma was the last surviving sibling of ten brothers and sisters.
She was an excellent seamstress that could make a master- peace out of anything with a needle and thread.
Irma worked over 45 years at various sewing factories in Allentown and Bethlehem starting when she was a teenager.
She was a faithful member of Central Assembly of God in Bethlehem for 63 years. Irma was a Sunday School teacher, nursery and VBS worker for many years.
Irma enjoyed to play Rack-O and Uno.
She loved her family and Jesus with all of her heart, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors: Her son Darrell R. Longenberger and his wife Connie of Emmaus, two grandchildren Matthew (Anna) Longenberger and Andrew (Melissa) Longenberger, five great -grandchildren Joshua, Isabella, Jack, Julia and Ian.
