John Frederick Kaiser
John Frederick Kaiser, 81, of Bethlehem, died on March 2, 2016. He was the husband of Janet (Lerch) Kaiser, they would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on May 18th.
John was born in Shelly, PA on June 23, 1934, son of the late William and Bertha (Huhn) Kaiser.
John graduated in 1953 from Quakertown High School and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1957-1959. He enjoyed camping, woodworking projects and model building.
John worked in the maintenance department at McAdoo& Allen in Quakertown, as a Millwright for the Bethlehem Steel and retired from UCP in Bethlehem.
He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Freemansburg. John was a life member of East Bath Rod & Gun Club.
Survivors: Wife, Janet; son Jeffery John Kaiser of Bethlehem and daughter Jennifer Lynn Yeakel, wife of Frank of Danielsville, brother William Kaiser, his wife Melva of Coopersburg; sister Bertha, wife of Jerry McClellan. Predeceased by his sisters Pauline Satek and Dorothy Holland.
Service: A Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 5th from 2-3 PM at the John F. Herron Funeral Home at 458 Center At Market Street in Bethlehem.
