Kathleen J. Hoffert
Kathleen J. Hoffert, 90 of Bethlehem passed away peacefully at the Inpatient Hospice at Lehigh Valley Hospital 17th Street in Allentown.
Kathy was born in Bethlehem on January 26, 1933 daughter of the late Raymond R. and Florence (Siegfried) Hoffert.
She was a College Librarian for many years at Muhlenberg College in Allentown.
Kathy was an active member of the former Salem Lutheran Church in Bethlehem serving on the Church Council, Altar Guild, Worship & Music Committee and a member of WELCA. Kathy continued to be active on the worship and music committee at The Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. For many years she was a member of the Board of the Auxiliary of Muhlenberg Hospital which later became Lehigh Valley Hospital in Bethlehem. Kathy was active in the former Bethlehem Lioness Club.
Survivors: Sister-in-law Irene Hoffert; 9 nephews and nieces Walter Hoffert, Jr. (Patricia), Dick Hoffert (Sylvia), Joseph Hoffert (Linda), Jane Holden, Judy Demboski (Mark), Jere Hoffert (Mary), Dale Hoffert, Jeffrey Hoffert (Judy), Jack Hoffert (Barbara) and their families. Predeceased by a sister Shirley Hoffert, brothers Raymond, Walter and Wilbur Hoffert.
Viewing and Service: Wednesday March 29, 2023, viewing 10AM to 11AM followed by the service at 11AM all at the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center Street Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial in Hope Cemetery in Hecktown. www.HerronFuneralHomes.com
