Maria V.  Anacleto, 83 of Bethlehem passed away peacefully at home  on June 19, 2023.  She was the wife of Virgilio Anacleto for 58 years until his passing on January 1, 2020

She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 2, 1939, daughter of the late João and Dalila (Oliveira) Tavares.

Maria worked in housekeeping at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill for many years until she retired.

In her younger years she enjoyed traveling, going to festivals, walks, cooking and working in the garden. She also loved animals and having various flowers around the house.

She was a member of  Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem and well known in our Portuguese community.

Survivors:  Sons Wilson Anacleto and Virgilio Anacleto, Jr.,  brother Mario Jorge Tavares and grandson Michael A. Anacleto.
