Mary Melinda”Linda” Hendricks, 80 of Allentown passed away on December 20, 2021 at the St. Luke’s Hospice-Black River. Linda was the wife of the late Leroy C. Hendricks, Jr. Linda was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on March 25,1941 the daughter of the late John Wesley Hillings Jr. and Anna Elorine (Spencer) Hilling. She grew up in Glen Burnie, MD and graduated from Glen Murie High School. She graduated from Allentown District School of Practical Nursing as an LPN. She began her career at the then Allentown General Hospital before working at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill Annex where she retired after 20 years. She volunteered at Good Shepherd Home where she met her husband Leroy. They were happily married for 55 years. Linda spent her retirement enjoying nature by going on long walks, enjoying wide varieties of coffee and visiting with her grandpuppies. Linda was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church in Allentown.

Survivors: Son Leroy J. Hendricks and Sherry of Hellertown; Brian M. Hendricks and wife Samantha of Bethlehem. Predeceased by her sister Noma Dohl Hilling in 1981, sister Katherine Jayne Hilling Simms in 1990.
