Richard E. “Chico” Larish, 81 of Allentown died on January 18, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill.  Husband of Gloria A. (Beitler) Larish. They were married 55 years.

Chico was born in Bethlehem on September 2, 1937 son of the late Monroe and Elsie (McCarthy) Larish.

He was a Superintendent at Bethlehem Fabricators and later a bartender at the Macungie VFW.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Allentown.

Chico was a member of the New Temple Lodge #720 F & AM, Lehigh Consistory, Fearless Fire Co. No. 1, and the Allentown VFW.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.

Survivors:  His wife Gloria, son Richard M. Larish of Allentown, daughters Stephanie J.  Larish-Latshaw of Macungie, Lisa Larish of Breiningsville and Tami Hunsberger wife of Arnold of Salisbury; daughter in law Sherri Larish of Duncannon; 12 grandchildren Blaise, Tyler Lee, Alexandria, Cole, Shaun, Rob, Tori, Casi, Taylor, Joshua, Justin and Brooke Nel; 7 great-grandchildren Grayson, Parker, Jayden, Briella, Emmee, Cameron and Kellan.  Predeceased by sons Michael R. Larish and Robert Scott Larish, grandson Dylan L. Roth and brother David Larish.

Service:  Memorial Service on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 11 AM, call 10AM to 11AM in Grace Lutheran Church 729 St. John Street in Allentown.

Funeral arrangements are by the Sell-Herron Funeral Home Allentown.
