Richard J. Baransky, 74 of Allentown passed away peacefully  at home surrounded by his family  on February 17, 2021.  He was the companion of Alice Crawford for over 38 years.

Ricard was born in Scranton on March 20, 1946, son of the late Stanley and Julia (Zarumba) Baransky.

He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and received a Bronze Star.

Richard  graduated from Penn State who was a proud alumnus and had season tickets to their games.

He was a Bridge Inspector for the State of Pennsylvania.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors: His Companion Alice Crawford of Allentown, her children Raymond of Greenville, SC and Debbie Zawadski wife of Carl  of Allentown.
