Tom Klotz passed away at the age of 69, having been born in Easton, PA on December 29, 1947. Tom was the son of Ruth (Siegfried) and Jesse R. Klotz Jr. He is survived by his brother, Robert J. Klotz and his sister, Lois Klotz Girer, as well as four nieces, a grand-niece and three grand nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a foster sister, Jane Schaffer. Tom was a graduate of Easton Area High School (’65) and attended Franklin & Marshall College, majoring in Latin & Greek.
After leaving college, Tom joined the Army and attended language school, learning to speak and read Russian fluently. When he had finished his training, he was stationed in Germany. During his time in Germany, he also became fluent in German. He was honorably discharged in 1976 as a Staff Sergeant.
After his military service, Tom worked in several jobs, most recently as a technician in the quality control lab at Airgas Corporation in Montgomeryville.
Tom’s hobbies were playing classical guitar, hunting, fishing, and archery. He enjoyed making and collecting bows and arrows. Another interest was in all things Native American. He enjoyed reading and also had a collection of books about
