Todd R. “Mr. Mac” MacMurtrie, 59 of Bethlehem died on May 5, 2017 surrounded by his family at the Hospice House of St. Luke’s in Lower Saucon Twp. He was the husband of Carol A. (McMurtrie) MacMurtrie, they would have been married 39 years on August 19^th.

Todd was born in Bethlehem, on October 2, 1957, son of LeRoy and Grace (Reed) MacMurtrie of Bethlehem.

He was the owner of Mac’s Carpentry Company in Bethlehem for over 30 years.

He was active in Northwest Little League for over 24 years serving as Vice President of the Board, Baseball Coach and Umpire. Todd was a member of the Service Electric Golf League.

Survivors: He is survived by his wife Carol, his parents LeRoy and Grace, daughter Carissa A. Danowski wife of Michael of Bethlehem, son Todd R. MacMurtrie, Jr. husband of Kiira of Bushkill Twp, granddaughter Blake Leigh MacMurtrie; sisters Hope Bowling of Harrisburg and Faith Zahm wife of Leigh of Smithsburg, MD; brothers Michael husband of Mary Pat of Erie and Bruce husband of Margaret of Harrisburg.

Service: A Celebration of Todd’s Life will be held on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 11AM at the Northwest Little League Pavilion followed by a reception where his family will receive relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements are by the John F. Herron Funeral Home in Bethlehem.
