Zita Mann
Zita Mann, 94 of Bethlehem died on January 8, 2017 in Country Meadows of Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Alexander Mann.
Zita was born in Bethlehem on December 28, 1922, daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Gaspar) Chassar Csaszar.
She was a hostess at the Hotel Bethlehem and was the assistant manager of the Moravian College bookstore for many years.
Earlier Zita was a semi-professional baseball player for the Armorettes and played fast pitch softball and fast pitch hardball. She was an avid bowler and golfer at the Bethlehem Steel Club.
Survivors: Her son Gary Mann, daughter in law Sandra Mann, her grandsons Richard E. Mann and his wife Diane of Nazareth and Robert A. Mann, Jr. and his wife Tina of Canadensis; five great-granddaughters Chelsea, Nickole, Bridgette, Peyton and Mackenzie. Predeceased by her son Robert A. Mann, Sr., sister Irene Esquivel, brothers Eugene and Stephen.
Service: Funeral Service on Friday January 13, 2017 at 11 AM in the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center Street Bethlehem. There will be a viewing from 10AM to 11AM in the Funeral Home. Burial in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
