Our hearts are heavy as Dave “Davino” Venturella, 50, of Mertztown, Pennsylvania left this earth to move on to his next adventure, and what we’re sure is the greatest concert he’s ever attended, on August 21st 2022. He was born on March 20th, 1972 in Elizabeth, New Jersey the son of Carol M., and Alan (wife Mary) Venturella.

Dave was full of life. He lit up a room, befriended everyone he met and always greeted you with a smile and a hug. There will never be another person like Dave; his spirit was one of the most unique and genuine many of us will ever encounter. That spirit will live on in all who loved him. Dave was an amazing writer whose words transformed the simplest thoughts into a magical transcendence of emotion. He loved spending time with his dogs “Sweetie” and “Skippy”, playing poker with friends, attending concerts and festivals, and making people laugh. An avid Phish phan, he was passionate about music, poetry, and baseball and loved with his whole heart.

In addition to his parents,  David is survived by his devoted fiancé Julianna Alpha of Mertztown, PA, his sister Krysta Fioranelli, wife of Enrico, with their children Dante and Cecilia Fioranelli all of New Jersey, and the many, many friends who became his family.

A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, September 24th 2022 call 2Pm to 3PM followed by Family Remembrances from 3PM to 4PM in the Sell-Herron Funeral Home, 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown, PA 18103.
